Bend Glass
(Staircase Bend)
Bend Glass, also called Curved Glass, is glass that has been thermally or mechanically bent into a smooth, consistent arc or shape. It’s widely used in architectural features like staircase railings, balconies, facades, and glass canopies – offering both aesthetic elegance and functional performance.
Advantages
- Aesthetic Appeal
- Space Efficiency
- Safety
- Durability
Bend glass is produced by heating glass until it becomes soft enough to bend over a mold, then cooling it slowly to retain the shape. This process can be applied to toughened (tempered) or laminated glass for structural safety.
